The paper mill stores are great! You get a box for a certain price and its literally 'fill it as much as you can'.

HUGE range of colours as well, lots better than their website :)

Im making an effort to go to my nearest store (about an hour away) so I can stock up for invites :D

  • There are only 2 in Scotland and the closest one is about 1 1/2 hrs drive from us but worth the trip if they have what I need.
Yes it was a different site I was on but papermill direct looks superb too and have much more of a range than I have seen elsewhere in U.K.,online at least.
This is what I want to make but in my deep purple/plum colour, white inset I think with a silver ribbon and photo of the castle(or possibly photo of us) on the front

so if anyone has any tips I would appreciate it,I have never made cards before.
I seen nice card 12" square which I can cut in half to make the basic cards but I would have to make the envelopes for them,or I can find envelopes and make the cards to fit.I like the idea of having them quite big though so the 6" square appeals.

  • I used PDA card adn craft. (You can google it)

They have lots and lots in every size and colour. (It just takes a bit patience to navigate where everything is.) Including envalopes, favour boxes and place names.

I used them and delivery is fairly quick, but it might be a bit tight for this weekend!

Try googling world of envelopes, they have envelopes in nearly every colour / size.

    Not badly priced either!!

So much chocie, that is brilliant.I found a 15cm square card in dark purple linen finish for just 34p a card.Fab.Going to have a quick look at that other site and then choose my stuff and order tonight:cool:.
Prefer to order online as I can stick to my list that way.If I actually go to a craft store I could spend £50 and walk out with nothing I actually need:o.

oh glad you have found what you wanted :D

those invites you linked to should be easy to make.....print the inserts on your computer on a4 then cut to size and stick in
the bits on the front are all stuck on so thats easy too
think it would look nice with a photo on the front, hmmmm...do you have a real nice one of the 2 of you that you could use?

NO decent couple images,no decent images of us at all, so I will use a picture of the castle venue instead.
