AA - Breakdown insurance warning
I'm sure I was just unlucky here but a few months ago I changed the car registered to AA for breakdown assistance (after getting a new (second hand, mind) car).
Then yesterday, I noticed a £50-odd debit from the AA. Called them and they'd added 'Breakdown cover' - they pay part of your breakdown bill, I think. We hadn't discussed it at the time and so it was totally unauthorised. They apologised and promised to refund - in some ten days' time. However, twas very naughty.
Just posting as it's worth keeping an eye on these things...
