Hi Nick
Bet you're weighed under with all this advice!! Just shows you're not alone x
I am a madasafish customer - really pleased with service, very pleased. Also if you have need to call their customer service, again very good, unfortunately like a lot of things these days they are in south africa. This is available on an 0870 number which on BT will cost you around 12p per min - and you are inevitably on there for some time.
However, if you sign up for 18185, this call on a sat or sun will only cost you 2p, yes 2p per min instead of 12p.
You may be cynical of these services, you'd be a fool not to be, but at the end of the day, you always retain the right to use your original provider by not dialling the prefix.
I signed up for tesco home phone - got £30 back from quidco for the priveledge, and make all calls through 18185 or 1899, depending on where I am dialling. My calls are around £5 per month and £10.99 for the line rental.
I have been signed onto these services for over a year, no problems at all. Payment is straight from the bank after a notification email.
Go for it!
Good luck Nick

Well Today has been successful, i keen see this being addictive. I've got a couple of pending changes with my Broadband and House Insurance, but I'm looking at around a saving per month of £66.76 which works out at over £700 per year. Not bad.0

So how can you prove that these charges are unlawful?
I had a £90 charge last month because I went over two or three times, and a DD was returned.
Can't we also claim for the interest that banks make when they hold your money while it is being cleared, even when its a cash payment?0 -
Nick, you need to have a look at the FAQs on the site all your Qs will be answered there. TBH theres a fair bit of inaccurate advice kicking about on here, so I REALLY recommend going over there and getting the right answers to your questions.
The interest is a tricky one too, so get expert advice on it x:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Have a look at the web site mentioned....formerly known as https://www.bankactiongroup.co.uk....and they explain everything there.
It is worth the trawl through the information but basically the charges are being claimed back on the basis that they are punitive in nature ie they don't represent the cost to the bank/organisation of returning an unpaid dd etc.
Personally I've just put a claim in for £2130
I don't know if that primus offer is still on but again read Martin's article on home telephones and I'm sure that a better offer than the one you are on now will present itself.
Personally as far as sky is concerned you can only have 2, 4 or 6 of the packages that make up the basic service so you may have to ditch another one.....personally I would ditch the news channels as I seem to think you only lose the US news services.......after all who watches those and as I said before you still get the UK Sky news even without paying for the news channel package.
And yes, you are right moneysaving is addicitive!2014 Target;

With regards to Sky, the options online only give me around three choices, World, Movies and Sports. Also they don't seem to be very clear on how you downgrade but in your face on how you can upgrade. Not suprising really.0

I have just gone through my online statements, from the start of 2003 until now, and I have incurred a hell of a lot of Overdraft Excess Fee's - £670.00, £196.00 worth of unpaid DD fees and £92.00 worth of unpaid SO fees.
I have gone on the site above, but are awaiting the activation email.
Can I claim back Overdraft Excess fees?0
