Hi
I've just installed (28th June) a BT line into my property (I was on Virgin before) and I verbally entered a contract for the 18mth which meant that I should not be charged for the connection fee charge if installed before end of June.
When I had received the paperwork after the installation, I found it strange that there was a £122 charge, I phoned and enquired, the BT advisor said wait for the bill which I have just received and found out they they put me onto a 12 mth contract instead.
Has anyone else been put in the same situtaion? Does this charge stand?
Please please please any advise
