Tarting and Credit Rating

Can anyone give me a rough idea how much credit card tarting you would you have to do in one year to damage your credit rating? I've been tarting on average 2,500 from one 0% balance transfer card to another 0% card every 6-9months or so. No problems so far...

Thanks

Mike

    Welcome to the site

I have had about six 0% cards over the last 4 to 5 years and have had no problems with credit rating / getting credit. I am probably one of the millions of reasons that they (The credit card companies) are now charging for balance transfers (Don't know if I am happy or sad about that) as I am near to having to change cards again soon.

I think I would be more inclined to be worried about defaults / late payments as these would affect your credit rating. The other thing to watch is not making too many applications in a short space of time. Close the odd credit card down from time to time and that will help

I wouldn't worry as you are making applications every six months or so

    Hope that helps
