This is a copy of a PM sent to BT company rep seeking assistance
Hi, my daughter in law had a new line installed on Thursday last, she took out a 12 month contract and has to pay the £124 connection fee, I found out through this site that if she changed to a 18 month contract, the connection fee would be dropped,
She made a call to change her contract and was refused the 18 month contract, as " there was no such thing as wavering the connection fee"
However I have made several calls to BT since Friday to change the contract duration, BT have agreed to change the contract and waver the fee and have promised a return call 3 times to confirm this,
These calls have not materialised, During the last call I was given a reference (PM********* ) phone no 01286 pm****, and another ! promise of a return call to confirm the change, Which has not materialised.
Is there any way you can assist in this issue, I am available on mob (pm********) and of course through pm here,
Regards , Alan.

I'm thinking there's no such thing as bt reps, Theres deffinately little input by them on these forums,
However in Wales we have a dedicated Welsh language helpline, a quick 5 minute phone call this morning ended my 5 days of waiting for my call from whatever faraway continent!
Brings to mind my signature >
