    Morning all! (just!)

    Looks like you are all being very productive.
    Today's things for me:

    1. Send homemade birthday card to friend (saving about £3 on a shopbought one!)
    2. Eating yesterday's dinner for lunch (apologies to my colleagues for the stench!)
    3. Emailing friends to sort out another friend's birthday, rather than calling...
    4. No response to my clothes offer on freecycle, so will take them to the charity shop
    5. Be envious of Toria's holiday - it's the nearest thing to a holiday for me this year -hahaha!

    I think that's all for today! Have a good one everyone!

    Arghhh most of my holiday clothes dont fit me so ive got even more things to list on ebay now! And Im going to have to search ebay at the same time to try and find some cheap new ones!!

    So an addition to today list:
    • Find cheap holiday clothes!
    • See if any of too big clothes can be altered to fit me :rotfl:
    Time to get things sorted once and for all......

    - claim free 02 credit back
    - claim free 02 surprises
    - charge mobile at work
    - food from stores
    - walk pup at lunchtime
    - work really hard as been slacking past couple of day
    - take sausages out freezer for tea (will do tonight and tomorrow)
    - check banking
    - check cc online
    - scratch and click
    - do some washing and dry indoors on doors etc
    - get suitcase out of attic for DD's holiday on sat
    - write thank you card to holiday place for giving me £65 off due to financial hardship
    - write document to present to court on Tuesday after getting a week delay to hearing
    - write to walker love after lovely guy at council sorted out my council tax yesterday and took of about £200 worth of charges and backdated my single person discount. Debt just went down by about £400!! Need to pay this month now its been sorted though :(
    - return free dvd we rented from blockbuster to aviod a charge, the others are due back tomorrow (Marley and Me - v sad & cried lots.)
    - watch dvd rented last night (revolutionary road)

    Today I have:
    • Checked bankng
    • Paid almost all of the gas bill, only £25 left to pay
    • Accepted a job, better hours, more money, better prospects and finally moving in the direction that I want :j
    • Finally have a day off, the 3rd in the last 17 days, am shattered!
    • Put half price redex into car to try and improve performance :confused:
    • Meals from stores
    • Washing and line dry
    • Spoken to OH on skype as he is away
    • Check quidco and PB (1 CT)
    • Checked mystery shops - none
    And I will:
    • Locate some important paperwork that needs sending off
    • Check how much extra my car insurance is to add commuting, fingers cross it goes down, which it did with the last change lol
    • Do some housework
    • Sort out new budget for july as wages will change
    Anyone collecting brit trip points???

    And sorry I havent been about, just had no time at all, was horrendous :eek: hope everyone is ok, have I missed any big news??

  • Hi everyone, just woke up off nights and been chasing flat stuff up...taking forever! Buying a home is the most stressful thing ive ever done!
    But on the lighter note, ive discovered freecycle where ill kit the flat out with bits if i can!lol
    Got to think about what to get for dinner tonight...will try to be frugal – milly that does sound a nice dinner...got me thinking! Im going to raid the freezer and cupboards...

    Candy well done!!!...I get my second year results Friday afternoon for my degree!! Nervous

    Work out a list of things which will see me through first 2 -3 years in the flat which means i wont spend! Ideas anyone? Im thinking register for blockbuster student account, get a free rental. Cheap mag deals....i want to clear the debt other than the mortgage of course in 3 years.
