Each person on the Anglepoise mailing list will be assigned a number and the winner will be selected randomly on the 2nd October by picking a number out of a barrel.

Quite easy acctually, when you click submit they're probably putting your record into a database, and it'll just auto increment a number for each entry. Then simply pick out a random number Why they couldn't just say "winner picked at random" I don't know


As for the lamp, I quite like it.

A: The missus would hate it.
B: I think it'd look ace in a home office or something.
