I am fairly new to this site so I am sorry if I am repeating previous threads.
I have already invested this years ISA in Tipton and Cosley, I have a regular saver with the Halifax and I regularly buy premium bonds. However I still have room to save some more money and I'm not really sure where to go next. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Tia91, depends on your attitude to risk.
Are you currently saving into a cash mini ISA? If so, you can consider opening up a shares mini ISA (£4000/year) as well. If you dont want to take too much risk, an FTSE allshares tracker fund should do nicely as the fees are low.
Keep in mind, this is for long term investing only. You dont want to open it for a year only to cash it out later, since you want to give it time to grow. The downside is the FTSE can potentially do badly this year. The GOOD thing, that I have profited heavily from, is when the index does badly you're buying the stocks cheap, & benefit when the prices rise again. My pension gained bunches throughout the recession in 2000 since I bought at the low scale, & prices rose again, which historically they tend to do.
Once you have mastered saving, which it appears you have done, investing is the next step. We'll guide you through it on the boards & the returns are much greater. Good Luck!Debt & Mortgage free...0
