hi hypno - hope that the holidays help your body get back to normal. From the sound of it you still haven't recovered fully from the marathon and all that marathonesque debt busting you do.
I'm not surprised you decided to have a student with OH's lack of shifts but do remember why you were going to stop and think about whether you want to revise that view or whether in reality you can't imagine life without them for good or bad reasons and that is why you keep saying yes.... I suppose I'm saying use NLP on yourself and work out why you keep saying yes when you would rather say no!
Anyway have a good holidays.

SH - I am saying "yes" because they pay money that we need to get through this long long journey to becoming debt free. I would rather have my house to myself, but if OH isn't earning enough, we have to look elsewhere for the money. That additional money could come from a mystery shopping marathon, savings from the budgets, ebaying and carbooting......or an extra student.
The desire is not for another student......it isn't that I love to share my house with strange teenagers (my own teenagers provide enough hangers on as it is!), it is a desire to bring in enough money to pay the bills, pay my debt obligations, and allow the children to have the opportunities to travel etc.
If I have short term students, I can say No at any time - 2 or 3 weeks at a time is much less of a commitment than an academic year which is what the Norwegians would be here for. So, even if I say "yes" to another 7 or 8 short termers, our house will still be our own for many more weeks than it has been in recent years!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Morning Hypno
Just to let you know if you are doing any online banking today that Barclays have once again suspended the faster payments service for the weekend due to maintenance.

thanks EG - but sadly I have no money with which to even attempt a payment, faster or otherwise, this weekend, so it won't affect me!
But I am very grateful for you pointing it out - each time I have moved money about this week I have been double checking whether it is working, so thank you for the heads-up the other day :T
Banking is done (no money in or out this weekend), scratchcards done - 20p wooooooo! and a dooyoo review written.....
I am about £12 from payout on dooyoo so hope to reach that before I go away next weekend......2 reviews a day should be achievable while I am off.
I have my ebay item finishing tonight - I have a bid of £24.99 so that is ok, I would hope it might nudge up just a little, but if this is all that I get, well, it is still half a square to colour inSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. I was just thinking the same thing Taxi.:rotfl::rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
