it's over my house at the moment ShelleyC - was very ominous driving home towards that big black cloud!!
  • Very, very many congratulations on all you have achieved in recent weeks. Delighted to hear you have a pay rise. :D

You continue to motivate - yesterday I signed up to Virgin Bingo via cashback site and am aiming for much more free money from there. I'm so grateful that you're on this diary daily as I've really enjoyed reading this and because it keeps me motivated. I am on target to save £5K this year and that's even with a £600 dental bill today  I've got £450 of the money saved in my 'health savings' pot, and I've the rest waiting to be paid into my account from amazon thanks to sales in the last fortnight. I would never have started amazon/ebay sales nor cashback sites without the encouragement you give on your diary. So, scary bill, but entirely manageable. Thank You :A

Thanks for all the comments yesterday - I went to the football with DS, so we had a nice evening out, (especially as we won!) - it was a cup match so "kids for a quid".....bargain.

Yes we got the rain, but we were under cover so didn't get wet, thankfully.

I managed a NSD yesterday (pre-bought the football tickets) so that was a good start to the month.

Off to scratch and bank - have a good day, everyone!

10ps only on the scratches......and in banking, I have had two scraps of money in from bets over the weekend, so £10.50 transferred straight out to the debt pot. It will grow slowly and steadily, and it is all "free" money, so that is even better!

More coffee now then a quick shower and off to work. Going to work is always nicer when you've had a payrise!
