My mouse has squeezed sides - I was gripping it that hard :rotfl:

  • This has been more entertaining than a Soap: mystery, drama, comedy, emotional suspense, some blue bits :D , happy ending.
Moneysaving: no call out fee and no charge for advice - amazing
Philosopical lesson: demonstrates the ethos which underpins this site

Definitely the best Post of the Month I've seen for a long while

Get on Google and down load the manual whilst you are still up to speed on the basics.
It might save me spilling my tea next time :o)

Hi, just finished reading through all your threads and wondered if you might be able to offer any advice to me on my comby boiler??

I got a brand new spanking glow worm boiler put in 2 years ago and since the first month i have had nothing but trouble.

The first year of me having my boiler i had the gas men round at least 8 times a month sometime's twice in one day.
My boiler keeps losing pressure and they have done all the usual stuff like bleeding radiators and putting through some stuff to check for leaks, but my boiler keeps losing pressure.
Im at my wits end. They told me that i dont have enough pressure from outside coming in and to see my local water board. Saw them and they checked it and told me i had good pressure readings.
The last advice i got from the gas board was to open the valve on my boiler.....little knob thing under boiler and leave it open.

Thankfully i didnt leave it open as i believe is against the law?????? (female dont understand any of it).
I have the Gas board and some one from Glow-worm coming to inspect my boiler later next week for the 4 time in last few months.
So Any advice apart from taking scottish gas to court would be nice.
