replacement boiler quote

Hi just had this quote boiler to replace my existing

1.Drain system and remove existing boiler/flue
2.Supply and fit Worcester Bosch 30si condensing combi boiler
3.Run new drain to remove condensate from oiler
4.modify pluming and heating pipes to facilitate new boiler
5.run new gas supply
6.supply and fit suitable digital programmer
7.boiler to be commissioned with a government certified gas analyser
8.chemically flush out heating system and add inhibitor to protect
9.all work carried out by a bosch senior technician/accredited installer to comply with all current regs
10.Boiler will carry a manufacturers extended 5 year warranty,which is awarded only to accredited installers.

Total cost 1913.78

does this include vat? if so not screamingly outrageous for bosch, local guy may be a little cheaper (dont know which area obviously) work they are carrying out is as expected for replacement.

yes it does include vat and i'm in the northwest of england.

I've just been quoted £2,800 by npower for a boiler replacement - though mine is to replace an old back boiler so that may be why it's a bit more expensive. I was told I would need new radiator valves (something to do with the pressure?) even though I got new rads and valves fitted only last year. They also recommended a 28kw boiler when all other quotes I had said 24kw would be sufficient. Can anyone tell me if this is right or are they trying it on?

Sorry I should have said - I'm replacing an old back boiler with a combi. What can I say - I'm a newbie
