Best use of £300 for a few days away....

Hi!

Me and the girlfriend have got a week off work booked next week, very badly needed R and R time and we barely see each other even though we live together so we are both looking forward to it immensely. In essence it doesn't matter too much where we go, however we are both pretty broke at the moment but have around £300 to spend and we want to get away for 2-3 nights.

The plan was to pop down to St Ives for a couple of days camping and eating nice seafood, however with the weather taking a bit of a turn this week I am not so keen to subject her to a small tent in the rain!

What I was hoping for is some inspiration from anyone who has some to spare. I have been trawling last minute websites trying to find any possibility of some cheap sunshine but it just seems to me that it is impossible to get anything "last minute cheap" these days. If anyone has got any suggestions or secret places I should be looking then I would be eternally grateful!

Here's hoping :D
