Only loooked at Pickfords so far. Can you recommend any others?
Also, am I best going for a national company like Pickfords or a local one.
Seems hard to find out who you can trust.

We used GB Liners last year and they were excellent.0

We've had a smallish local firm come and give us a quote today. We're handling my Mums move to Devon. She's only taking about 25% of her furniture with her but we still need a removal firm to deal with it. I know you should get at least 3 quotes but I decided on the spot to use the guy who came out this morning. He was very proffesional, helpful & I liked his quiet efficient manner plus the quote he gave was around the amount we expected. I did phone another company to arrange a quote but was told they'd call me back in 10 minutes and they never returned my call, so they obviously don't need the business. We've packed everything ourselves (what fun!) that probably saved money. Good luck and hope you find a good company.0

I'd second GB Liners. We've moved twice with them and never had anything broken.
Their packing service is excellent too. I hope never to move again, but if I did I'd always use a packing service, it saves so much time and effort and really IS worth paying the little extra it costs.Make £2026 in 2026
