Boots photos is there anything i can do?

We took our memory card down to boots paid for 100 photos, then we forgot about them for a few weeks, i reminded my other half and when he went to collect them they didnt have them .
So my partner assumed we must of collected them but we did'nt now i have no evidence we even went in there,no ticket as you can always give your name and no credit card as we paid cash.
That will teach me to keep the ticket!

Can i do anything or are they lost forever?

It's been a while since I last used them, but they always used to give a distinctive receipt slip, as well as a till receipt when you pay for them.

If you've lost both then realistically there's no way that you can force them to do anything.

However, if you go there and be polite and act distraught, and ask them to check for your name and details again in case the photos have been mis-filed, they may do a thorough hunt around for you. Just make sure you don't go during their busy (usually lunchtime) period.

Did you use your Boots Advantage Card? If so they should be able to track the transaction on that.

I once bought a hairdye in Boots that didn't contain any dye!! But I'd chucked the receipt, and only found out the lack of dye after opening all other bits. So I emailed Boots and they checked my Advantage Card to see that I had bought it. Once confirmed they emailed me saying I needed to print email and take to store for refund or replacement product.

So try that!

I took a film in 3 years ago and keep forgetting to pick it up, they ring me every 6 months :P but 6 months ago I actually went in to get them and they didn't have it anymore, I think it was 2 years they keep them for.

Do you still have the memory card? If you have do not use it! Pics can easily be recovered even if they have been deleted.
