Help! ink on wallpaper

I know it is probably a lost cause but apart from painting over my wallpaper does anyone have any ideas of how to remove biro marks from pale wallpaper?

Unfortunately I do not appreciate the artistic displays of my 2 and 3 yr old boys and apart from chopping off their hands , I am at a loss as to what to do.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

16 month old decided to decorate the living room for me. Unfortunately we only decorated it ourselves 18 months ago and much prefer our style to hers  .

Anyone got any ideas on how to get blue (and red) biro off my cream vinyl wallpaper?

I've tried milk which has taken off the top layer of biro but it's still really noticeable.

    Blummin toddlers eh?

p.s....she now has a table, chair, paper and stack of pencils/crayons... ;)

THIS is a jumper, not wallpaper, but some might work

The first item on This Page should help if your stain is still there.

The only alternate I know of for lemon (slightly acidic) would be vineger which is also slightly acidic.

I'm sure I've seen moggin's suggestion of using bread as an eraser before though, so I'd try that one first :)

Try a tiny bit somewhere not obvious and remember to let the vinegar do the work and don't rub - just dab.

Well I tried everything, even thinners, but nothing has completly shifted it

The blue has faded by about 60% and the red by about 80% so it looks a heck of a lot better now.

Thanks for all your suggestions, I knew I could rely on Old Stylers ;)
