Any free programs to check for these on my pc,i get a message sometimes saying trojan in system 32
any help appreciated

try ewido, the full version is free for the first 30 dates with automatic updates then it reverts to the basic version which is a good back up to standard spyware programs.

You do not have to be - if you find a persistant little blitter then run in safe mode but initially no.0

Follow all advice here (especially Browntoa's recommendation in post #3) but, if you still get that message, try Trojanhunter from here ....

It has a fully working trial period and does a pretty good job of fixing trojans.
