Vanquis Bank-HELP!!!!!

I had a vanquis credit card which through losing my job defaulted on.
I managed to arrange a loan from Black Horse who would pay the balance before releasing funds.
Sorted!!!!! OR SO I THOUGHT!.
Vanquis agreed £240 as a full and final payment as the account was £323 in the red, but due to the majority being charges they agreed on the phone £240 and that would be it.
Called them again to confirm and the guy on the phone confirmed that he could read the notes that stated that fact on the system that £240 full and final.
Black horse needed confirmation but Vanquis wouldnt give them the balance or the agreed amount due to data protection.
As it was £323 showing on my credit file thats how much Black Horse had to pay and they very kindly did.
Called Vanquis and informed them that £323 and not £240 would be sent and rather cheekily asked what happens to the remainder they told me as that £323 was the balance thts what would be applied to the account, so with my tail between my legs I accepted this and asked for a letter to confirm account closed- WRONG!!!.
A month later:
They have now been on the phone claiming I am £58.91 in the red even though the account shouldve been closed as full and final payment made.(No transactions)
Wrong again they state that Interest was applied 2 days after my final payment cleared.
I informed them of the agreement we had and now they are listening to calls that i have made to find the agreement because lo and behold its disappeared from my notes!!!:eek:
In total that makes about £380 but yet I only spent about £160 on the card the rest was charges.
I only hope that i get a call informing me that they have found the call with the agreementbut as they seem to want to drain me I doubt it.
After just getting my credit file up and running again this is the last thing I need.
Anyone els have similar or any advice on my next step if they cant find the call(Which after notes disappearing wouldnt surprise me).
Any help greatfully appreciated.
