Will they still honour my LOB rate?

Will Barclaycard have to honour the rate and credit limit of my Skycard when it takes over in September?

I don't spend on the card, but have a 3k credit limit and £2700 in balance transfers at 6.95% for LOB.

Do Barclaycard even have to offer me a card or can they demand the money in full and close the account?

I am really worried as I just chip away at the balance each month, and obviously don't have the full amount.

They can't demand repayment of the money, at worst they could stop any future payment on it.

My personal experience of this is that I've got a LloydsTSB Duo card, with a 3.9% LOB inherited from a Texaco card that used to be issued by LloydsTSB some time ago.

Barclaycard run the accounts for Sky already on their systems so I would expect minimal disruption and the LOB to continue.

If you look at the Terms & Conditions of the Credit Agreement the Agreement is between you and Sky Card, Barclays Bank Plc.

Effectively you are changing from a Sky branded Barclaycard to an unbranded Barclaycard, the only difference I would expect would be the loss of the reward points.

When Barclaycard took over Goldfish they honoured the LOB offer Goldfish had offered me.They did send me a new card though !
