Am I in financial hardship? Help please!

I owe £350 rent money and £900-1000 in gas bills. Is it true if you are owed over £500 in bank charges in a year then you are classed as being in hardship? Any info would be of great help! I am owed £1570 on one account and £1767 on another.

Are there any arrangements in place to pay off the arrears?

Cos that is a pretty good definition of financial hardship(that is, your first post).

Have you started the process of reclaiming the charges back? What stage are you at?

we have applied for financial hardship and been told that we have to wait till the test case is over. Have you any idea if it is over yet? or if there is anyway of getting around this?

I have just worked out what we're owed. I have two accounts. I keep getting bank charges from one account that I do not use, and I cannot pay it back. How do I prove that I'm arrears?
You must have had arrears notices, right?

You are in a similar situation to another poster, so I would take the same advice posted

The first claim I made, under financial hardship was rejected, now my situation has changed for the worse i'm making a new claim. I do have an arrangement with the gas/electric company to pay them back. However, I do owe my previous supplier £115. On top of that I owe the £350 rent. Is that still enough to claim for financial hardship, added to the fact i'm under the charged over the £500 a year in bank charges bracket?

With my template letter from here asking for the money back what else do I have to send? Sorry if it seems I could be going in circles, I'm owed roughly £3000 in charges and want to make absolute sure I'm doing it right.

PS. I have final reminders, do they count as proof?

Final reminders are good, I guess. Electricity arrears may not necessarily count as they can't cut you off(the one you aren't with).
