Hi there. I was paying £106 per month direct debit for my dual bills. I received a letter today saying they have changed the way I pay for electricity and immediately want a cheque for nearly £500!!!! Obviously I don't have £500. Is it legal for them to move the goalpost? Can I shift to another provider who will do monthly before I pay off npower? Has anyone else experienced this?
