Version 7 of Adobe Reader is available at Adobe web site
It's 26.8MB so over dial-up it will take 1-2 hours to download, it should be on cover CDs soon.
It does not run on Windows 9x, only Windows 2000/XP, 9x users can still use version 6.
It starts up much quicker than version 6, full details are on Adobe web site.

There's no need to download the full 26.8MB version. Go to the Adobe Reader download page and untick all the boxes on Step 2 of 2 and the size comes down to 12.6MB. You still get the standard Acrobat 7 Reader, but without all the junk that comes with the full version.
Alternatively, use this link to download the slim version directly from their ftp site: AdbeRdr70_enu.exe0
