Hi Guys
Just a quickie....
This is probably me being totally ignorant but can I post something as second class standard to Londonderry in Ireland? I wasn't sure if that was classed as overseas as I know a friend of mine had problems sending standard mail to the channel islands recently. Does anyone know about ireland?
TIA
Rebecca

Londonderry is part of the UK and you can post standard second or first class. The Channel Islands are a British Crown dependency but not part of the UK.0

Brilliant - thanks very much! I must brush up on my geography!0

Just to add though, anything south of the border (Ireland) will be classed as Europe. Sorry if that's stating the blerdy obvious.0

No that's helpful too thank you!0

The thing to look for is a UK post code, if it has one of them it is in the UK if it doesn't it is probably Europe. Of course some people do forget their post codes and then my wonderful theory breaks down entirely.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Just to confuse things though many couriers will charge extra for Northern Ireland and even the Scottish Highlands and other assorted Islands.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
