Claiming Bank Charges

OK im not sure if I can claim back charges. I am struggling money wise. I am in around £15,000 worth of debt but some of the debts were with the banks and have now been passed on to debt companies.

My question is can I still claim for bank charges from the banks I owe money too?

can you break down the debt....ie bank charges? Credit card charges? and was there any payment protection with any loans/credit cards(if you have any)?

You can still claim even if they have been sent to a Debt Collection company.

Yes the debts are all going through different debt companies. So I guess the next step would be to request bank charges lists from the banks and credit card companies?

    Thats Great :)

One more thing though, the accounts were closed and passed to debt companies so I dont know my account numbers etc. Can I go into or phone up the companies to get my account numbers etc? or are there other ways?

Include all information to allow them to identify you ie name date of birth address at the time the accounts were open, etc, etc,
