yeah what goldeneye243 said - there is a cheap pre-order price on win7 - you can pick it up for £49.99 when its released, but you can download the full pre-release version from microsoft - the aspireone site has lots of guides on changing OS - including ubuntu remix which is free and may also work with mobile broadband dongles

Yeah it will work with a dongle providing you have a usb slot

Can anyone give me some advice, have been looking at these for a while, was looking to use this with mobile broadband, does it have everything I need to be able to do that. Do I just buy a dongle and plug it in or is it more complicated than that. Not very good with technology! Is there a known problem that you cant open links on emails?
You can use a Mobile Broadband Dongle with Linux Lite without too much problem. you need to ensure that you have downloaded the latest updates via settings. You should then have the 3G Connection Manager and Mobile Partner in the Connect Menu panel.

I use O2 and did have some initial problems getting a connection. But followed the advice here: http://www.robtucker.co.uk/2009/05/07/o2-3g-mobile-broadband-on-acer-aspire-one-netbook and up and running. My dongle is one of those from Littlewoods Direct as discussed elsewhere in this forum.

Yes, email links cannot be clicked to open, but you can cut and paste into address bar of browser window.

It's a great little machine as long as you are not looking for serious gaming and the like.
