Selling a new games console on Amazon.co.uk help

Options
I recently bought a new games console from Ebay and I wanted to sell it on Amazon.co.uk. I have checked the boxes contents and it is all there. But I was wondering whether I should test the console first to make sure it works before selling it new on Amazon?

Thanks

Mark

If it is new then you shouldn't test it as that would make it used. If it was sold as nearly new then sell it as used on Amazon.

Also are you pre registered to sell electronics on Amazon as not all sellers can sell them there. Watch the fees as well, they can be very high.

The box was a bit scuffed but the console came in the plastic wrapping that new consoles do. Also I looked at it and there were no signs of usage. Can I still sell it as new?

New must be new, if it is only like new then you must sell it as used. How was it described when you bought it?

Also be careful, Amazon are even stricter than ebay for sales and you don't want a claim for item not as described.
