Hi, I am currently on maternity leave which is due to expire in August, when I will be made redundant.
We will not be able to survive on OH's wages. We are doing our best to make ends meet at the moment, and have been doing car boot sales and selling on ebay etc.
I have been looking at jobs, but after childcare and travel will just break even (if that), and would prefer to care for my daughter myself if thats the case.
I have gone to Citizens Advise a few weeks back before I was only receiving the statutory maternity pay, but they were useless and I am now feeling sick and tormented and have been trying to find out if we would be able to receive any help such as LHA or council tax benefit.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I want to get us sorted.
Thanks in advance

I cant help you but wanted to send you a hug. Can you take a full time job on ? If you can then perhaps start looking for a new job now or applying for temporary work? If you want to stay with your little one then perhaps you could look into childminding?0

What's happening with tax credits?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Sorry to hear of your predicament, really not pleasant. You should be enjoying your baby not having to worry about money.
You are going to be made redundant as soon as you are able to return from maternity leave?
Did this happen some time ago?
Have you approached your company regarding current opportunties?0
