I'm at my wits end and hubby doesn't get in till 3am
I created some folders in incredimail, one in particular, my business folder, well I just went into it to look for an email and the entire folder is empty! I almost fainted!! There were some important emails in there! I can't understand it, though.
I have around 10 folders and everything else is in place.. I've looked in deleted items, not there, checked if I accidentally created a subfolder and put the emails in there, nothing.
What else can I do!? I'm so scared I won't be able to retrieve my mails

I can't help Charlene - sorry, but I only use it occasionally for birthdays etc, and I'm no techie
I've just checked and everything that was there is still there. But it's not my 'default' so it was only ever used to send and not receive.
Not much help I know, but just wanted to let you know nothing's disappeared here.
Good luck ....0 -
Thanks for replying
I really need to calm down actually, hopefully they haven't disappeared into cyber heaven, keeping my fingers crossed hubby or someone can work some magic here."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -

Could be a bingo http://www.incredimail.com/incredimail/help_center/help_article.aspx?article_id=75&lang_id=9&referrer_id=5
A bit late but how to backup http://email.about.com/cs/incredimailtips/qt/et111002.htm
Best thing to do is get rid of incredimail as its just full of crap and a gimmick
and looks awful for business best thing to use is Outlook for the time being.0 -
Surely Incredimail collects e-mails from other e-mail accounts, won't a copy of the original e-mails be on the account from where they were originally picked up from. If e-mails were written in Incredimail then a copy should be in the "Sent" folder if it hasn't been deleted.0

Thanks Electron, will look into those links.
I think I may as well give it a miss now this has happened, I was suppose to be using thunderbird anyway.
Elvis, I set most of my emails to delete after 7 days on the server, so they are all gone."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -

Another shameless bump Charlene
But why use it? I always think of it as a fun thing ...0 -
I unfortunately installed Incredimail once and found it had put all sorts of stuff into my computer in different places & I had a hell of a time trying to clear it out.
Still not sure if I found everything.

Shameful as it may sound now, I used it for the nice backgrounds, but I haven't used the backgrounds in over a year
I've been lazy about transferring everything to Thunderbird, and looks like I've paid the price!!
Electron: Funnily enough it's restored loads of folders I deleted ages ago,but now, the business folder has gone completely... Very strange."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
