To DWP this is about taking away claimants legal rights to benefit and cutting IB numbers.I dont believe that the chairman did that, though, I think you are lying.

I am sure you and others 'think' that I'm lying - i.e. that you would take the side of the system which is unfair to claimants.
I am sure you don't 'believe' - that is why the chairman made excuses for them and made the prosecussions case against me - even though he should have cancelled it until another day.
What proof have you that I'm lying?0 -

Garry_Anderson wrote: »Nope - the *fact* of the matter is that the chairman did the job of DWP and even made excuses for them not being there - busy, heavy workload etc.
The DWP act as Plaintiffs - in opposition.
The chairman is not supposed to do the job of the DWP in the way you describe, that was an error. This is rare and does NOT happen all the time.
You do not seem to understand that your case is just one out of many thousands and not the way things are usually done. I seem to be talking to a brick wall.0 -

Have you asked CAB about representing you? Even if the office can't do it, they may be able to suggest someone who can do this for free.0 -
At my tribunal (which I had to wait 9 months for) it was just me, my mum, the judge and a doctor, nobody from the DWP or anything. My mum was told to shut up, I was told "I'm not listening to you" (by the judge) then the whole thing was adjourned after 2 minutes so that more "evidence" could be obrained. What I don't understand is this, my beef with the medical is that the Atos doctor wrote down incorrect answers to the ones I gave, so why do I have to "prove" myself, but he doesn't????? If I had lied/made a "mistake" on a claim form I would be penalised, so yes, in my opinion, it is very one sided in the favour of the DWP.
Incidentally, I now have a new tribunal date for mid August, so all in all, it will be 14 months to the day that my IB was stopped.
Not that I hold much hope in getting a fair hearing, but maybe this time I will be allowed a say.
ESA and Healey, you both are very hostile regarding tribunal hearings, why is that? are you unable to dispense advice without resorting to ridicule and aggression?what goes around, comes around...........0 -

I am not hostile or aggressive or ridiculing anyone, I am just saying that the majority of people who attend a hearing have a fair hearing which is a fact that has been repeatedly ignorned on this thread.
Sometimes people do have bad experiences but that is in the minority of cases.0 -
so insulting someones hair (when they have been in hospital) isn't ridiculing then? I am sorry, you do both seem to come across quite hostile to me, which is not on, people are sharing their experiences, I may have just had a bolshy judge, not saying that they are all like that, but he certainly was with me, and I can say hand on heart, that my claim is genuine, so unsurprisingly I do feel pretty passionate about it, so please try to think how you come across in future postings, as its pretty insensitive, and most people who are going through the tribunal process are already worried sick and scared, I know I am, constant smart Alec remarks just make it seem worse.what goes around, comes around...........0

I have not said anything about anyones hair or made smart Alec remarks, I think you owe me an apology.
I am not hostile have helped many people on this forum and do do not require your advice.0 -
ESA;23111837]I'm more interested in whether Garry has that awful haircut displayed on his 'skilful' website:rotfl:Garry_Anderson wrote: »Sorry - that's when I was in hospital after my operation went wrong - it hadn't been washed for a while.
I would have washed it had I known that it would be used as a source of amusement
sorry Healy, it was ESA who made that remark about the hair.what goes around, comes around...........0
