ASDA Credit Card - problems accessing online account

Has anyone else had this problem?
I've accessed my ASDA credit card account on line since I got the card 12 months ago and never had any problems.
For the last 3 weeks I keep getting an error message saying that there is a technical problem with the site when I try to log on.
I have phoned customer services several times and always get the same answer - due to the Santander take over they are experiencing problems with the site and it should be rectified within 24/48 hours.
I also get e-statements and my next one is due on the 9th July. I hate not being able to access my account on line. Luckily I have a direct debit set up to pay off the balance in full each month.
Also when I tried to access my account at the weekend from my home pc I received a warning to say that the security certificate for GE money had expired
I have other accounts that have been acquired by Santander and dont have any problems with those sites. I dont understand why it is taking so long to rectify the problem with the ASDA site and Customer Services have no useful advice!

Just tried and I can log in no problems, although your email reminded me to reselect paper statements in case there are any issues down the line.0 -
Dazza.mk do you log on with your card number or account number?
I was that fed up about a week ago I wrote a letter and someone from Santander called me back. He said that the problem was with those logging on with their account number. He told me to use my card number but that didnt work at all - I got a message telling me to use my account number. He even gave me a different number to call and said they'd be able to sort out any problems I may still have.
When I called that number I was told I couldnt use my card number and would have to wait for the technical problem to be resolved which should take 24/48 hours but definately before my next statement was due! I feel like I am going round in circles and I hate not being able to access my account on line.0 -
Just had another call from Santander.
My OH thought he'd lost his card (he's an additional card holder, of course he found it after I'd cancelled it) so it seems that they created a new account number when they despatched his new card I havent been told this before.
As advised, I tried to re-register but that failed so I rang them back and they did it over the phone. So when I receive my temporary password I should be able to access my account for the first time since 13th June
Santander are also crediting my account with a whole five pounds for the inconvenience!0 -

Card Number, I used to log on with Account Number when I had an everyday card, but switched to a reward card and the login changed (intending to get rid of it altogether once this years loyalty pays out)0
