Where is iBootSale?

Has www.iBootSale.co.uk disappeared?

I got an email telling me my pitch was about to expire and to reply for an extension, which I did. I usually get a reply extending my pitch within 24 hours...not this time.

I have tried to log on for 2 days and am being met with "Website unavailable. please check back later".

Will it be back? I hope so as I had loads listed there and did not keep copies....will I have to write my listings all over again and start paying for Ebay?

I hope so...but would this mean they weren't answering emails either?

Oh dear, that sounds slightly more of a worry. I know they weren't particularly popular but i think we had a couple of users on here that were very happy. Have you any reason to think that they have given up, how long has the 'not available' message been coming up and how long have you been trying to contact them? If it's only been a day or so then I owuldn't worry and would just wait to see when they come back again.

Only been a couple of days...just wondered if anyone knew anything...
Usually websites put up a notice if there is maintenance, this seems a bit unprofessional.

A couple of days does seem odd, I know when sites I use have gone down they tend to either leave a message or just reappear a couple of hours later (like MSE yesterday!)

I think we really do only have a couple of users on here do a forum search for ibootsale and pick up the users name and maybe send them a PM in case they have heard something.

There doesn't seem to be a scrap of chat anywhere online though, it is just as though ibootsale had the plug pulled on them.

Maybe cyberbob is right, it would be a shame though as that would mean baiscally two contendors fell in June, Tazbar of course closed as well, but they did announce it to give users a chance to clear their stock.

Yes, that's all that has been showing for days now. Still no chat online at all about it, I know it wasn't heavily used but you think someone would be talking about it or know what has happened
