I think I'd ask him to phone them to break the news and say you'll follow it up with a call when you're in the right frame of mind, that way he'll know that he needs to be clear about what's happened.

(not saying he'd lie to them but the truth sometimes get twisted in these situations)

I will ask him tonight what he gonna do with his mum & dad. Told my mum last night and she told me she never trust him since the day we met. Thanks mum for cheering me up!!!

anyone got any experience of using plaster of paris? I was thinking about making some toadstools for DD's fairy party to go out in the garden/outside bit. Wonder how easy it would be or whether to try paper mache

I think papier mache would be better sally, over some kind of 'base' you could build on?

I've never used plaster of paris, but I guess you need a mould of some kind?

I thought with plaster of paris you normally used like wire fence stuff...not sure what I could cover with paper mache...ok who thinks I am going OTT for a birthday party? I just want it to look magical and special
