Good morning all.
Still muggy here but with the odd drip of rain.
I dragged myself into work in the car - all out of eggs.
So tired that I can hardly bring myself to stand up. Still this is my last Monday :j and into single figures for the holiday.:j (Bookie's attempt to kick herself up the derriere.

Doctors at 3.20 and then I have to do car park duty for a campfire tonight. I'm guessing that that is when the rain will arrive.

ok -to keep it short

- he ate a break neck speed and was leaping up for more/next course the second he was putting his fork down to get through the meal
- he didn't speak to me unless it was a grunted yes or no when I tried to make conversation
-he made a couple of snide comments about my weight.

The food was pretty rough to be honest. It is a buffet place, lots of the containers were almost empty and the sweet and sour sauce was the colour of strawberry jelly!!

Highlight was a couple who decided - very loudly and with much marching up and down the middle of the restaurant - to say they weren't paying because the meat they had eaten was off and when they went to get their food 'where were the ribs? where were the wontons? where was the cucumber?' and then shouting very loudly across the restaurant about how unclean they felt it was, how the meat was off and how could they be serving such rubbish food :rotfl:

Morning all,

No eggs at this end either, just me trying to stay awake. I'm in the library at uni, trying to get the information to draft out a rough plan of my next essay. I've got to write 3000 words on a research project I did just after Easter. I've managed to find a summary of what I should be doing, I'm now going to put some money in the printer, print off some more lecture notes, get some chocolate and do a spider diagram on the essay. Then I can start on it tomorrow.

Could everyone please send a thought to my mum? She's having a camera down her throat at 2:30 this afternoon to see why she feels like there's something stuck in her throat. I know that whatever it is, the cigs caused it, but I'm really worried it's something serious. So could you all send her good thoughts and hope it isn't please?

There are some odd number rhymes. I mean - ok we all know Legs 11, Unlucky for some 13 etc

morning all - no news from me. I still live with a !!!!!!.... hope i have house news today or i will throw myself out my office window (it's ground floor so no harm in it really!!)

It's my runchum rachels 30th birthday today.... any suggestions on something i can get her at next to no notice, in a town where not much is available?! lol!

And i'm supposed to be going to runclub but have left bag at home! grrrrr!!

I've just done some googling and apparently although 56 is used occasionally, it should be 'was she worth it - 76' because 7shillings and 6 pence was the cost of a marriage license (7/6? was she worth it?!) and Ghandis breakfast is because he 'ate' (8), 'zero' ie he was fasting :rolleyes:
