Bless you. I know how you feel - same thing happened to me but without the kid bit.

If it makes you feel better, exactly same thing happened to mate of mine-including the "surprise kid" bit...don't know how she did it, but she found it in herself to welcome him into the family...he spends weekends with them now.....I couldn't have been that "big" ......
