Help Please - Abbey Debit Card Fraud

Hi, Long time reader of site but this is the first time I have posted anything. Yesterday I went to get some cash from my Abbey account. I only have a cashcard, no debit card due to previous money probs etc. There was about £30 less then I thought I should have, same happened previous weekend with about £50 less. Got a mini statement and loads of transactions to Zynga texashol, which when i checked is a poker site linked to facebook (incidentally same one my ex uses). I called bank and they were not very helpful but told me that a new debit card was sent to me in February (I did not receive this), she cancelled the card and gave me a number to call on monday morning to try and claim the money back. Over £150 in past week and half
I asked her why a card that was sent out 6 months ago would be accepted for first time just two weeks ago and also why my old card would still be active. She obviously didnt know the answer to this and just said thats what happens.
I am pretty sure it is my ex who has this card, but dont really need any more hassle etc, will bank trace the person who is using it.
Getting pretty worried now. Is this normal to have 2 active cards in one name on one account?

I have seen customers with 2 active cards on their account before. The best way to resolve this is to go to the branch and get them to do a visa dispute. This is done by the branch staff via customer portal and service request. The branch will fill the form in stating the amounts and time and date of transactions and also some written notes to explain the situation. Give them about a week to sort out then chase with them.0

I'd be inclined not to mention the ex, the card was stolen plain and simple. You should try to cancel any account 'you' have with this poker site, explaining that your card has been used fraudulently. You may also want to report the card stolen to the police, but I'd taken the bank's advice on that. If you have any passwords, security questions or PIN numbers for telephone or online banking or Facebook etc. that you think your ex might know I would change them ASAP.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
