The shuffs - we arn't all good I'll have you know!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
You need to start with baby steps - just level 1 - you'll find the list on the first page. As time goes on it gets easierand then you can progress onto another level. Sounds like the HHI challenge would be good for you (half hour ironing) as little and often won't seem as daunting.
We are are lovely on here - well apart from me as I moan and moan! We will help/motivate you all we can.
Add an Xmas tree and join us. Our wonderful meeter and greeter Toots will send you a pm explaining everything to you

Afternoon Ladies,
I was coming on here to confess something that happened this morning but after reading the posts, not sure I should! Ok, I need to get it off my chest - I ran over a Wittle Wabbit this morning on the way to work - I feel so bad! It ran in front of me, I seen it but it was too late to swerve or brake (there was a car behind me)!
I now believe in Karma though, cos later on I was nearly squished by a lorry changing lanes at the last minute and I did have to swerve!
Anyway have calmed down now and can't wait to get home (safely) and get livingroom finished - I will do it for the Wittle Wabbit!0 -

Swinstie - you poor thing, bet you felt bad, but it can't be helped where wild animals are concerned - they have no road sense!! :rotfl:
At least the lorry didn't squish you, that's the main thing.
On about neices rabbit - mine nearly died last evening, we let shim out when we get home as we are all fenced in and it's good to see him skipping and jumping. Anyway we were out having a fag (bad I know, but thank god we were) when one of the kestrels that is on the hill behind us suddenly swooped down and tried to get him!!!!:eek::eek:
DH was quick ennough to jump up and run like a nutter so he swooped away but must have a headache as he managed to hit the fence before flying off!!! Serves him right - there I was cooing over him only last week!
We now can't leave shim to his own devices in the garden in case the rotter comes back. Mind you he's a very large rabbit so don't think he could of flown off with him but his talons and beak would of done some damageTo love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existance - Sydney Smith0 -
The_shuffs wrote: »Hi just wanted to say that I read with great interest lots of the posts and find all the help and information so helpful but my problem is sometimes i just cannot be bothered I work full time shift work and when im at work i dont get a lot of time at home and when im off i am so tired it takes me 2 days to get over my working week and then i have one day left before i go back to work my home is not very messy as i am not one for collecting things one of my worse habits is letting the ironing mount up just wanted to have a moan about it hopre that is ok all you flyers are just so good i will carry on reading and hope it rubs off Rachael xx
Hey Shuffs/Rachael
(Im gonna call you shuffs, cos I'll never remember your name as time goes on.)
I used to work full time until recently and like you, would want to flop on the sofa and do nothing, I had enough to do making tea, doing dishes, getting school stuff ready for the morning, blah blah blah.
What worked for me, was this. As the list goes up the night before, you know what the next days room will be....... so at night time I put a wash on before I go to bed washing whatever is necessary for that room, plus whatever else needs doing. (unless its my room - and the bedding, then I put that on in the morning before I go to work)
In the morning, I can hang it up before I go to work and I leave all the cleaning spray, cloth, hoover etc in that room. I put another wash on before I leave to go to work and TRY to do a declutter in the kitchen before I go to work, cos it ALWAYS seems to need it.
When I come home from work and am putting tea on, I will do a HHC in that room and try and do as much as I can off the list. Then after tea I try and do another HHC to do dishes, tidy kitchen, start on tomorrows stuff.
you will be really surprised what you can get done in 30 mins when you get going.
Like someone else said, start on Level 1 and you will find as the weeks go on, that each level takes less and less time, and you can start working your way up to the next level.
Babysteps xx
