Bathroom Fitting - How Much?

Hi There

I hope somebody can help me. How much should I expect to pay for a new bathroom fitting?

All I want to do is rip out the old suite and replace it with a new one, ideally without moving around any pipework to avoid costs.

I am thinking of doing the tiling myself to save money so it would only be the plumbing I think.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Jessica

if you are on a really tight budget and want to save as much cash as possible, you could try the local plumbing college to see if any second year students want to gain some work experiance.

In my experince when i was an apprentice all those years ago...! we use to get people comming all the time looking for a cheap plumber and we were more than happy to do the job as any real work experiance was a real boost!!

the staff at the college will probably help you select the more able students in return for allowing them to take photographs of the work they do for you!!

Thats a great idea - I would never have thought of it, thanks. I'll definitely look into it.

If the pipe work is OK it should only take a day for a plumber to do this. So with the plumbers mate it should be less than £500 (London prices) I would have thought £250.00 would be reasonable.
