not all printers support ciss and if you do use ciss you need to purchase a good quality one due to the problems you can have read above. now if you purchase a hp printer 8 out of 10 models uses print head cartridges these are different from your epson and most canon printers due to the fact that they have the print head attached to the cartridge hence why they cost more than £1 you can find a decent remaunfactured cartridge or compatiable you just need to shop around trial and error in most cases on hp compats
