Do the AA break down have guidelines ?

AA are rude and useless in my experience. Used the RAC a few times and they have always come quicker than they said they would and been really polite and helpful. The one time I used the AA the guy in the recovery truck was rude, and told me his hours were up so he was going to drop me off at the motorway services where I would have to wait for another recovery truck.....I live about 1 mile from the services so had to pursuade him to take me home. He did it , but moaned all the way. Told me I would need to call in again to get the car taken to the garage to be fixed and that it would be another call as he had done his job by getting me home. Called them back to be told that I wasnt covered for recovery from home, so as it was now on my drive it was tough luck! Eventualy got them to understand that if they had taken the car to the garage in the first place then it wouldnt be on my drive.
After that vowed to never use them again!0 -
