Forums not updating with latest posts

Although new posts are made these are not being added to the list of threads. There was some maintenance going on about 3:15 and since then it's gone belly. I added a post to thread after that and the thread moved to the top of the forum with my post listed but on returning the thread had gone back to page two even though further posts had been made. This is a cache problem on my laptop.
