Don't forget to export your outlook/outlook express address book, and also your 'favourites' too. Often overlooked, but will be sorely missed.
C:\Documents and Settings\'your username'\FAVOURITES - copy this folder.
And for your address book, go to File, Export, Address Book.
Good luck, a fresh install will revitalise your system! XP will load most drivers (some generic) for you, but make sure you then do a windows update, for more recent driver/hardware upgrades. (In Internet Explorer, go to Tools, and Windows Update, then do a select 'custom' rather than 'express').:money: [STRIKE]Mortgage: July01=62700; Apr07=~15000[/STRIKE]

Its becoming much less of a hastle with the higher broadband speeds now, updating XP on 512 service was long-winded.
The last XP install I did seemed to fly through, 30-40mins to get XP on. Another 10-20mins to get essential progs on.
Then about 20-30mins for all the updates with 4MB line. Least we arnt waiting an hour JUST for the opetating system installing nowadays.0 -
What make and model as if Dell they can be clean installed from F11 on start up.0

If you are fairly net savvy you can download windows xp with all of the updates built in
. Or you could make your own via Langa.com - = I also recognise the Robins and beep for them = -0
