can you give us some good places to go in cardiff then? aside from the usual 'techniquest, museum' things, are there any 'undiscovered' places in cardiff that us swansea people dont know about!?!You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....
*I have done reading too*
*I have done geography as well*0 -
went for a drive to swansea on saturday so i now know where the waterfront museum is and may brave driving there myself sometime in the holidays lol
we ended up in mumbles ,was fab kids loved the parks and pool etc and the ice cream was fab !! lol
could easily spend a whole day there ,id not been there for god knows how many years, will deffo be going back
has anyone been to playzone in the enterprise park ? http://www.theplayzone.co.uk/0 -
Haven't been to Playzone so I'd like to know what it's like - we go to Funsters in Hendy which is great - has a big play area and also a small area for very young children. The seating is right next to the play area to so its easy to keep an eye on your kids (or if other peoples kids are bullying yours!!!!!).
I also want to take my daughter who is 3 to "Pentre Bach" which I think is up around Aberystwyth. She's a big fan of the programme (anyone see Jac y Jwc and Jini's wedding last week - hilarious) and I'd love to know if its worth a visit. And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -
Try Roath Park in Cardiff (lovely lake, loads of birds to feed, rowing on the lake), Cosmeston Lakes with a medeival village, Nash point with a light house and nearby waterfront castle. Cefn Onn (Llanishen, Cardiff) has lovely plants and a walk all around, then a nice open field at the top for games/picnics/sunbathing. They used to have an ice-cream van up there in the summer - not sure if they still do?
Is plantasia still there in swansea? Any where in Gower is glorious.Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -

Roath Park is just down the road from me and we go very often. If my daughter needs to let off some steam, we walk down, and catch the bus home. The whole day costs the price of an ice-cream and a drink!DMP mutual support number 174Total debt now (April 10) £0! - total paid off £30,221 or 100%I'm now debt free after 6 years!!:jNon smoker since June 2006 :j0

If it's a nice sunny day (More heatwaves due apparently) then Victoria Park on Cowbridge road is great for young kids with it's pool. :cool2:You're Damned If You Do & You're Damned If You Don't :doh:0

Sorry Rachie B! Hadn't checked back here for a while. Hope you parked well. I'm sure it was ok - I tend to find there's loads of room as the perimiter of the park is so big.
Hope you enjoyed!!!Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
