Buying a Flat in Scotland

Could someone please tell me the equivalent to service charges and ground rent, which is payable in England,when buying a flat in Scotland.

Usually flats in a building have a factor who arranges the routine maintenance & who is chosen by the majority of the tenants. If this firm is not thought to be satisfactory either because they overcharge or the work is inferior then it can be changed for another.
But be aware that this only covers small jobs, not major ones like re-roofing &c.
Annual/quarterly fees could range from £100 to £500 per unit.
Normally because property is freehold, i.e. without a feu superior, then no additional charges are due.
