  • Blimey, that's seriously harsh :eek: Did you speak to the OR or to the OR's assistant? The reason I ask is that generally you don't speak to the OR but someone who reports to the OR.:confused:

    It might be worth going over her head so to speak - you cannot get to work without the car, the car is not in a roadworthy condition and this money would enable you to make it so. BUMP so others can give their opinion...

    i spoke to the examiner, if i write a letter directly to the OR im not sure how to word it:confused:

    Hi Wxmlad, I would appeal this decision. I had a similar situation and it was a larger bonus, I got to keep it because like you, it came about a month after BR and the car needed a big repair plus we had a big electricity bill. SO definitely appeal in writing regarding it. Hope it works out, I too got told instantly that I must send it in, but then I emailed a detailed appeal and got to keep it.

    If they still insist on having it, make sure that you keep your normal amount of wages and send them the £100/£120 or so after tax.
