Installing a printer, memory problem.

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help. My mum bought a new printer recently and asked me to install it for her. On inserting the disc it says there is not enough memory, it needs 256, which is what the computer is supposed to have, but says there is only 191. Is there anything I can do or would they need to add more memory?
Thanks
Sarah

In your system tray (that's the bottom right side of the screen) there are various programs ie: Firewal, AntiVirus etc etc. Simply Right Click on one of them, I suggest AntiVirus and Close\Exit, that will free up some memory.
Or follow the advice listed here: http://blog.wisefaq.com/2008/09/25/not-enough-memory-to-complete-this-operation-adding-a-printer-with-vista/
I then suggest going to http://www.crucial.com/uk/?click=true then click on the words 'Scan My System', at the end of the scan it will suggest some memory upgrades, I suggest if money is tight that you purchase the cheapest one as if you've only got 256MB in a Vista\XP box it will work, but you've way too little. Get more memory and things will be noticeably quicker! It will be a whole new computing experience, no more 'waiting, preying for something to happen or taking deep sighs whilst thinking .... hurry up!'
What's more you'll be amazed because it's a cheap and easily affordable upgrade : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JRAtuS7Jcc&feature=PlayList&p=36BD1CFAE2ABDE33&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=10
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0
