Yes it was from the Usher web site but you had to add "/public/hall.asp" at the end of the address - see the very first post on this thread - and it somehow let you buy the tickets.
I had already bought tickets for Glasgow after hours of frustration on Saturday morning but because of an error in its system you couldn't tell if you had bought them or not. It was only because of the this thread that I realised that you could buy the Edinburgh ones so I gave up my Glasgow tickets once I had bought these ones.0 -
forth one are about to do an unpdate on the situation, just waiting to see what they have to say, if anything new.0

i was thinking it could not have been obvious, so im surprised that many people could have bought tickets, surely not everyone knew how to do that.
and will they honour those tickets? as technically they should not have been on sale.0 -
my other half tried to buy yesterday aswell, (well last night) he said the details where on the site but when he clicked book it said, sorry tickets go on sale mon 6th july 10am.
so dunno how some managed and some didnt.
Thats what happened on the main site. However, I suspect if you had clicked by now for tim michin, etc it would have taken you to the main tickets page which would have then listed billy, allowed you to pick seats and book.0 -
Any updates from Forth yet ?
This is rippin ma nitten !
I have had to skive all day because of this !0 -

For obvious reasons I hope that they do honour them. I really can't imagine that they would go to all the trouble of cancelling all their guaranteed sales and then risk not being able to sell them again - unlikely I know but if they have hacked enough people off it is possible. Also for a lot of concerts there are pre-sales for "special people" who know how to get in through the back door which is usually designed for fan clubs etc. so I guess this isn't really that much different.0 -

again im ok with presales for members or people who register etc but this was a blunder. if i dont get tickets im defo complaining against that fact.0 -
No news yet, Ian said it was gonna be after the news, but they've played 3 songs in a row since then and heard nothing.
I'll post if something comes up.
Im fuming today. iv sat here for 5 and a half hours (nearly 6) trying to get these tickets, constantly refreshing the page just incase it starts working, and every so often hitting re-dial on the phone (still engaged)
and now i have to sort out my dinner and go to work within the next hour! and i work in a call centre so no more calling for me! will try and keep checking the website when i can though, and i'll still be floating around on here too. lol.0
