topup discount problem

I phone my daughter in Oz using Topup discount. I first have to ring a number that puts £1 50 on my bill, then I ring an over rider no before her mobile number. Although I have £2 54 on my account I keep getting an automated message saying I haven't enough credit to make this call. I have been using this service nearly 2 years without a hitch. However now I realise there is no customer service or anyone I can turn to. Does anyone have any suggestions?

There are many providers offering ½p or 1p per minute 0844 gateway numbers for making calls to Australia listed on the MSE International CallChecker - none of which require payment in advance.
However, I'd personally recommend (despite the 1p/minute rate) a www.18185.co.uk account to avoid the 'start paying halfway through dialling' disadvantage of gateway numbers.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
