Whats the best TOUCH up software for pictures?

Im looking to edit some pictures for a yearbook, does anyone know any good software to help?

I would suggest Photoshop elements. This costs about 50 quid and should you get a taste for it you could try its big brother (Photoshop CS2) although at £800 you'd have to be pretty serious about it.

But these programs, pound for pound, in my humble opinion are the best.

The very best I have found is xara extreme, its amazingly easy to use and just an amazing prouct. Movie one in this link is mainly things you can do with photos, movie two is more about graphics but still worth a look

I also use paint shop pro 8 which is good, but a good very basic one is infranview, I was very suprised at this one plus it is a FREE download, well worth a look
