Thankyou mystery logo man!

Just wanted to say a big thanks to the MSE'er (you know who you are)who has spent most of his evenings this weekend helping me with designing a logo for my website-it's been eventfull but he was brill and in true MSE style won't take any payment.
This site is truly great and the people on it are $%**% brilliant!!!!

Post it up here so we can admire his work then.

P.S If it was in a proper MSE style he would have also given you cashback...lol

Glad to hear it particulary as you have taken the trouble to say a big thanks. I have lost count of the number of times I have helped people some through PM's but never hear from them again when they have their answers. So some are really rude:confused:

    Thanks :-)
That's terrible but I suppose there's always some that just want something for nothing and can't even be arsed with a thankyou , as my Mum would say 'a thankyou doesn't cost anything!' .....and you don't get more MSE than that :-)

Moneymabel one great way you can say thanks to your benefactor is to put a link to his website on your website, if he also puts a link on his website it willl help you both. Not only do you both have the chance that customers will click through to each others websites. But the more links (Especially mutual links) you have the higher you will both appear on google.

Plus if you are ever asked to recommend a banner / graphic designer you can just direct people to your website for the link rather than them trying to remember a phone number or website (That you might forget)

Aw, what a nice thread :)

Being a graphic designer myself I know that there's some of us out there who make logos just for fun. Doing one for free means there's one less '!!!!!!' comic sans creation somewhere in the world ;)

It's lovely to see someone saying thank you for a change :D

I'm having a nightmare finding someone to design a logo for my small business. I contacted at least 10 professional people for a quote and only 2 replied to me (who were way out of my budget range). If anyone knows of any good ones then please let me know!
